As my final semester at UTC draws closer and closer, I realized that a question keeps being brought to my attention. For those of you who are talking to soon to be graduates, there is one question that drives us all crazy!
"So, what are you going to do next?"
Not every person who is graduating college has an exact plan for what they are going to be doing once they finally have their diploma in hand; especially in this economy. While the economy is slowly getting better, jobs are still few and far between. Those of us who have steady jobs will probably just keep their current jobs and wait for better opportunities.
The answer I always give is, "Well, I guess I will just be an educated server for a while. See what comes of it." That's whats nice about being an Entrepreneurship major. I can do anything I want with my degree. If I want to do something, I can just make my own business to do so. While the idea of just creating businesses to fit my fancy at the moment seems very unreasonable, it is a hopeful idea that keeps my wandering mind content.
From all of us graduates who currently have no plans, I am telling you to STOP ASKING!
